Day 0 

Madinah


4th April Friday

Arriving at the hotel in Madinah

 

Intercontinental Iman Hotel is a stone's throw from the women's entrance of the Masjid Al Nabawi in Madinah. Making it the ideal location to stay in Madinah to conveniently perform all prayers in the mosque.

Madinah

5th April Saturday

Jabal Uhud

Visit Uhud MountainA guided 2 hour hike that explores the mountain's Islamic history and significant events 

About the mountain: 

  • Mount Uhud is 1,077 meters (3,533 ft) high and 7.5 kilometers (4.7 miles) long 
  • The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)  once said, “Uhud is a mountain that loves us and we love it” 

Visit Archers Hill

This is where the Prophet (ﷺ) had positioned archers during the Battle of Uhud with strict instructions not to move. 

Visit the Cave of Uhud 

Climb the mountain and explore the Cave of Uhud, where the Prophet Muhammad took refuge after defeat 

Visit the Martyrs of Uhud Cemetery 

See the graves of companions who were martyred in the Battle of Uhud, including the Prophet's uncle, Ḥamza ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib

Madinah

6th April Sunday

Seven Mosques of the Trench

Qubah Mosque Date Farms

Pray in the Seven Mosques: These mosques are believed to be connected to the Battle of the Trench, where the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions dug a trench to defend Madina from an alliance of enemy tribes.

Pray in Quba Mosque: This was the first mosque built in Madinah by the Prophet SAW. This mosque has been blessed by Allah in the holy Quran. 

Visit Historic Date Farms: The Garden of Salman Al Farsi is a historic site in Madinah where the Prophet Muhammad planted 300 date palms. This was done to free his companion Salman Al Farsi.

Relax by a sacred well under the shade of the date trees: Enjoy over 70 varieties of dates including the famous Ajwa dates grown only in Madinah.

Visit Al Baqi Cemetary: Pay respects to the companions and family of the Prophet (pbuh).

Meditate in the Prophet Mosque: Master Rabita Sharif by connecting your heart to the prophet's heart

Pray in Riad Al Janna: This area is believed to be a part of Paradise on Earth, making it highly revered for prayer. 

 

Day 4 


8th April Tuesday

Makkah

Enter into a state of Ihram: Enter into a state of ritual purity and take a 2-hour ride train ride to Makkah. Men should be in Ihram (two white cloths), and women should wear modest Islamic dress.

Check into the Makkah Royal Clock Tower Fairmont Hotel: Conveniently located 30 meters from the Haram enjoy easy access to the Grand Mosque and perform all prayers from the lap of comfort.

Tawaf in Kaaba: Waking seven counterclockwise rounds around the Kaaba in Masjid al-Haram, Makkah. It symbolizes devotion to Allah and is a form of worship and submission.

Saii between the Safa and Marwa: Walking back and forth seven times between the two hills Safa and Marwa, located within Masjid al-Haram in Makkah. This act commemorates Hajar (Hagar), the wife of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), who ran between these hills in search of water for her son, Prophet Ismail (AS), before Allah blessed them with Zamzam water.

Day Trip to Taif

Visit Shubra Palace: 

  • an Ottoman-era palace that served as the royal residence of King Abdulaziz.
  • It features beautiful Islamic architecture, wooden balconies, and marble floors.
  • A great place to learn about Saudi Arabian history and culture.

 

Visit the Mosque of Abdullah Ibn Abbas

  • This mosque is near the grave of Abdullah Ibn Abbas (RA), a cousin of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and a famous Islamic scholar.

 

Visit Taif Rose Gardens & Perfume Factories

 

  • Taif is famous for its rose farms, where the best quality rose perfumes in the world are made.
  • Visit a Taif Rose Factory to see how rose oil and perfumes are made.
  • In April, you can witness the rose harvest!

Day 6 

10th April Thursday

Arafat

Visit Jabal al-Rahmah: the most sacred spot in Arafat where Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) stood during Hajj.

  • Climb the small hill and make Du’a at the white pillar marking the location.
  • Reflection & Worship:
    Recite Istighfar (seeking forgiveness).
    Make heartfelt Du’as for yourself, family, and the Ummah.
    Read the Farewell Sermon to understand its historical significance.
  • Spend time in deep prayer, Zikr, and Quran recitation.
  • The Day of Arafah (9th Dhul Hijjah) is the most important day for Hajj, but visiting on other days still holds blessings.

 

 

Day 7 

11th April Friday

Jabal Nur

Hike up Jabal Nur:

  • The climb takes about 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on fitness level.
  • The mountain is 642 meters (2,106 feet) high with around 1,200 steps carved into the rocky path.

Reach the top & Visit Ghar Hira (Cave of Hira):

  • Ghar Hira (Cave of Hira) is a small cave (about 1.5m wide, 4m long) where the Prophet (SAW) meditated.

  • This is where Angel Jibreel (AS) revealed the first verses of the Quran:

    "اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ"
    "Read! In the name of your Lord who created..." (Surah Al-Alaq 96:1-5)
